Job Summary
ZimVie is committed to hiring qualified candidates and is seeking a HR Recruitment and Operations Specialist to support the North American regional HR Operations and Talent Acquisition functions with processes including full cycle recruitment and staffing, onboarding, offboarding, compliance, HR system transactions processing, data entry/management, data issue resolution, employee support and facilitation of various projects while maintaining compliance with ZimVie’s policies, procedures and applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, an excellent communicator, team player, and possess a keen, analytical mind for evaluation of candidates’ qualifications.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports the North American hiring team in recruitment and staffing assistance, administers and coordinates staffing processes to assure ZimVie’s success rate of attracting and placing highly competent and successful candidates, career/job fair coordination and participation, administer internship program and other activities.
- Coordinates recruitment activities and full cycle recruitment in-line with operational service levels, including job requisition creation, job description and job postings, sources new candidates from external databases (e.g. internet searches, job boards, referrals, job fairs, etc.), reviewing resumes, screening, interviews, presents qualified candidates to hiring teams, maintains candidate databases.
- Assist with talent acquisition and HR operational vendor management and partnerships for various vendors including external job board sites (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor) and other contracted partners including employment verifications, immigration matters, relocation services, service recognition, unemployment, etc.
- Manage onboarding processes including pre-employment screenings (background checks, drug screens, Motor Vehicle Record screens), Form I-9 processing, lead new employee orientation, and systematic onboarding tracking. Perform data integrity and governance audits to ensure data accuracy.
- Leads systematic employment record transaction processing, including new employees, contracted workers, internal transfers, conversions, internships, and other systematic transactions including leave status updates, start date changes and other transactions.
- Manages and administers various programs including immigration matters, employee referrals, employment verifications, labor law posters, onboarding, offboarding, policy updates, reduction in force and severance, relocation, service recognition, unemployment, company intranet SharePoint content updates and more.
- Identifies, develops and institutes HR best practices and improved efficiencies of departmental procedures and processes, including configuration of requirement documents, process documents, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), internal facing guides, etc.
- Provides a high level of customer service by handling internal candidate and employee emails and calls, often sensitive in nature, involving complex issues, in a timely manner.
- Performs other relevant duties and HR special projects assigned as required.

Education/Experience Requirements
- Typically a High School degree required with preferred Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or MIS or Business, or relevant field with typically 1-2+ years’ experience in HR Recruitment and/or Administration or equivalent experience/education.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with systems including SAP SuccessFactors HR system, HireRight, LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and Equifax.
- Strong working knowledge of general HR processes and procedures. Knowledge in federal, state, and local labor laws/regulations including AAP federal contractor guidelines.
- Familiarity with hiring practices and associated processes (screening, interview, assessment, onboarding); Experience using applicant tracking system software, recruitment job boards, related software, adeptness in social networks and career fairs.
